At this location we encountered the original layout and stones of the garden, dating to the 1880's. We excavated the four-hundred-odd pound edge stones and pavers and replaced them creating garden beds for a symmetrical allé of deep-shade tolerant Manhattan Euonymous. The rough brick wall, the aged statuary and the large gravel add to the feel of the space. The living room was extended five feet into the garden as seen here. GardenWorks oversaw the structural masonry work, rough and finish carpentry, all electrical, flooring and the design and installation of the vintage doors and transom.
