Exhibited when GardenWorks was invited to the 2003 Architectural Digest Home Design Show, this solid mahogany pergola was constructed to cover a 10'x12' abstract oval bluestone patio. Because of the shape of the patio no two angles of the pergola are alike - necessitating extreme-angled wedge-like upright supports masterfully crafted by Bob Wheeler and Matt Hausman. The pitch of the pergola is also organic, as the two halves of the top fall away at different angles. The adjustable, washable outdoor canvas panels provide shade. Panels can also be installed vertically on retractable stainless-steel ball-bearing runners, or visor-like hinges.
